It had been raining for what felt like the better part of six months but Oliver was used to that. The weather patterns in Star City went from bone dry to monsoon without anything in between and he wondered if he'd ever want anything different, if living in a place with four seasons would satisfy him.
Today's weather was the bone-chilling kind of rain that's just warm enough not to fall from the sky as ice instead. He pulled up the hood on his jacket and thought, not for the first time, that he probably should have A) called before going over to Felicity's and B) wore something a little more waterproof. Still, he's got coffee and a smile so he figures she won't be in too terrible a mood when he drops in on her.
He knocked at her door before calling out, "Felicity, it's me." It was her day off, sure, but couldn't a boss show some appreciation?
