[ she practically leapt at the chance when the representatives had approached her, anything to fix the catastrophe that was laurel's death. somewhere in the back of her mind she imagines a world where laurel doesn't die, could it be a world where tommy doesn't have to die, too?

Believe me, everyone has told me how ironic it is. Still, there's not a lot of crime here and it's a nice job. I got a bike and everything.
